People Tools 8.51

The newer tools version has lots of new features which we make use are utilized in your company. We approach the tools upgrade not just to keep up with Oracle support time table, we make sure all the new features are used within your organization.

New features:

• Separation of PS_HOME and PS_CFG_HOME which makes it easier to clone
• Oracle 11g RAC transparent application failover
• Data Guard support for PSQUERY Viewer and XMLP viewer. This would be a relief for customers with PSQUERY affecting production instance performance.
• Limited access to Oracle Catalog. Tighter security.
• Database Caching. This removes the concept of physical file app server and process scheduler caching and better performance and equal performance no matter which app server the user session is connected to.
• PeopleSoft Plug-in for Oracle Enterprise Manager. Better management of environments. Centralized monitoring.
• Sign-on message. Now you can inform your users about maintenance or any other messages to your users. Lots of customers had to customize this feature in the past.

Applications Upgrades

Application upgrades are more complex especially if you have more customizations. We can provide access to our lab to dry run your upgrade process or we would be able to provide you the compare report while you workout your project plan. No investment for your demo or your initial path upgrades.

Depending on the  application modules you use, we would be able provide you a competitive quote for the services we provide.

It would be a good savings on your infrastructure budget than investing on hardware and installing and the environments at your end compared to the server.

We would install within 7 days request to install a demo version of any application any tools version (within the Oracle Support version) in our labs and provide access to your super users, developers and admins at your office for project evaluation.
